Get To Know Dr. Ross Bailey Of Peel Dental Studio
In 1985, Dr. Bailey and his wife, Daphne, made the move to Mandurah. They purchased an established dental practice from a retiring dentist. Within two years, Peel Dental Studio, also known as Pinjarra Road Dental Clinic Mandurah, found its permanent home in the building where it stands today.
Over the past three decades, the practice has transformed significantly. It has evolved from Dr. Bailey working alone six days a week to a team of dentists providing a high level of professional service to Mandurah’s growing population.
Dr. Bailey’s commitment to continuous education, both for himself and his staff, has driven the practice’s development. This commitment has led to the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and the mastery of cutting-edge dental procedures.
Recognizing the importance of accessibility to dental care, Dr. Bailey’s practice participates in the State Government Country Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Dental Scheme.
Dr. Bailey is a dedicated member of the Australian Dental Association, having served as President, Vice President Treasurer and Country Councillor. He was also actively involved in the Australian Dental Association Federal Council and has spent over 20 years tutoring young dentists at the Oral Health Centre in Perth.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bailey is a passionate sports enthusiast. He enjoys water polo and regular paddling sessions. He and his family embrace various water sports activities, such as diving and fishing, fully immersing themselves in the active Mandurah lifestyle.

Peel Dental Studio is seeking a qualified Dentist (ANZSCO 269232) to join our busy, family-focused private practice in coastal Western Australia. This is a full-time, permanent position available for immediate start.
About Us
Peel Dental Studio is a long-established, family-run clinic providing a full range of general dentistry services to a diverse patient base. Our team is committed to high-quality care, clinical excellence, and patient education in a friendly and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Deliver general dental care including restorations, endodontics, extractions, and preventative treatments
- Educate patients on oral health and hygiene
- Collaborate with dental auxiliaries and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with infection control standards
Skills and Experience Required
- A degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution
- Full AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain) as a General Dentist
- Minimum two years’ experience in general practice preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply
- Demonstrated clinical competence across a broad range of general dental procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continued professional development
Salary and Conditions
- Annual base salary: AUD $85,000–$110,000 (commensurate with experience)
- In addition to the base salary, a performance-based commission package applies
- Tools of trade provided, including access to digital x-rays, intraoral cameras, rotary endodontics, and high-quality materials
- Supportive mentoring environment for new graduates

Our dental services range from the simple checkup to a deep cleaning of the gums. When a patient arrives for a checkup, we will examine the teeth and determine if there are any oral health risks. Once we have a clear idea of the patient’s teeth, we will recommend the most effective treatment method.
At a regular appointment, we will conduct a cleaning of the teeth, gums, and mouth, checking for possible cavities to ensure that the patient is in good oral health. We will answer any questions the patient has before the procedure if the patient has any worries.
Our dental procedures involve treating the patient’s oral health in a professional and efficient manner. Our dental procedures range from simple cleanings to more serious oral health treatments. Adult teeth are not invincible and can sustain permanent damage that does not go away with brushing or flossing.
